EARTH DAY OF SERVICE, Saturday April 20, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Join UCSC as we come together to celebrate Earth Day through meaningful acts of service. This year, we're partnering with community organizations on the South Side of Chicago for a day filled with impactful projects that promote environmental sustainability and community well-being. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work side by side with our community partners, gain insight into their work, and learn more about our neighboring communities. FEATURE FRIDAYS
All month, during our Feature Friday panel discussions, we’ll be leading conversations around the intersection of environmental justice and food justice, exploring topics around food deserts, food insecurity, and food production in our local communities.
