Eileen serves as the Associate Director for Student Civic Programs & Leadership in the Office of Civic Engagement. Eileen’s work centers around student development through learning, connecting, and engaging with Chicago’s Southside community. She supports the Seeds of Justice, Summer Links, and Afternoon Tea programs with UCSC.

Eileen started her career as a high school Social Studies teacher before working in the nonprofit sector where she’s held roles in youth development, work-based learning, program design, and teacher leadership coaching. Eileen grew up on the Southside of Chicago and is proud to be contributing to the collaboration and work between UChicago and community partners. When not in the office, you may find Eileen with her nose buried in a book, enjoying Lake Michigan, or spending time with family.
