Afternoon Tea with UCSC: Resisting with Creativi-Tea

Chicago is a city full of passionate individuals, communities, and movements. For this Afternoon Tea, we will highlight some notable examples of protest in the Windy City, paying special attention to the art that accompanied these eras of resistance. We will explore examples of protest art, take some inspiration from what we uncover, and create some art of our own.  And, of course, tea and cookies will be served!

Join us for weekly conversations about Chicago, civic engagement, and social change. These lightly-facilitated roundtables happen weekly and feature guest speakers, learning and reflection space, and social networking conversation over tea and other hot beverages, cookies, and snacks. Open to all students.
